1 lb. shelled pecan halves
1 lb. shelled walnut halves
1.5 sticks unsalted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- Place nuts and butter in slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes.
- Stir in powdered sugar and turn until coated
- Reduce heat to LOW and cook for 2 hours, stirring after 1 hour
- Add spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger). Stir until coated.
- Transfer nuts to parchment paper to cool
