An opening day baseball party this weekend? How about some WINGS for your guests.
This is a unique (and of course, delicious) recipe for SUPREME HONEY WINGS
5 pounds chicken wings, tips cut and discarded
2 cups Honey
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves of garlic (pressed)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Sesame seeds
2 cloves of garlic (pressed)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Sesame seeds
- Broil wings 5 inches from broiler for 10 minutes. This step is critical for the wings to keep their flavor.
- Place the wings in a slow cooker
- Mix the rest of the ingredients (except sesame seeds), pour over chicken
- Cook wings on LOW for 5 hours. If you do cook on high, you may cause the honey to burn, so cook low and slow
- Sprinkle sesame seeds for garnish
