2 Lbs. chuck steak cut into strips (I used a boneless chuck roast)
1 can of beef consomme (hunt for consomme, stock wont cut it)
1/2 cup of oyster sauce (Dragonfly - imported by US Trading Company)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1.5 lbs. broccoli florets (steamed)
3 tbs. sesame seeds
- Place beef in slow cooker, cover with consomme and oyster sauce
- Cook beef on HIGH for 3 hours
- Remove 2 tablespoons of liquid, mix together with constarch
- Add cornstarch mixture back into slow cooker and stir, creating a thicker "gravy"
- Cook on HIGH an additional 15 minutes
- Add broccoli, mix, and cook on HIGH for 10 additional minutes
- Serve over white rice and serve with sesame seeds
- ENJOY!
