This Turkey Chowder is a creamy, thick soup loaded with rich flavors of bacon, turkey, and veggies. With turkey bacon and low sodium creamed soups, it is a good alternative to high in fat chowders. You will not be disappointed!4 slices of turkey bacon, browned and crumbled (my favorite is the Applegate Farms Natural Turkey Bacon... GOOD STUFF!)
1.5 lb. turkey breast (cubes - 1/2 inch)
3 cups chick broth
2 cans low-sodium cream of mushroom soup
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 celery stalk, diced
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 carrots, finely chopped
2 Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and diced
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- Cook on LOW for 9 hours
- ENJOY!
