RECIPE: Harvest Ham Supper

BACK TO SCHOOL time has arrived. For the next several posts I will pass along easy, family friendly recipes that you can have "up your sleeve" for those crazy back to school days. This first one is a traditional ham dinner, tasty and simple.

2-3 lb. boneless ham
1 cup of maple syrup
3 sweet potatoes, quartered
3 yellow potatoes, quartered
6 carrots, cut into two inch pieces
  • arrange vegetables on the bottom of the slow cooker to form a "rack" for the ham
  • place ham on the vegetables
  • cover ham with maple syrup
  • cook on LOW for 7 hours
  • ENJOY!
